Brief

Aaron, approached us early 2008 with a simple brief: “We want a wedding card – we are looking for simple, clean, modern approach – with a hint of Italian.”

Details

Eschewing the typical ?traditional? look of wedding weddings cards (pink colour scheme, cursive fonts, Chinese text), we wanted to give the couple something nice to begin their new lives together with.?Chatting with them over a beer, we got to know that they were going to Amalfi for their honeymoon. Amalfi is located South of Italy and is famous for their gorgeous sunsets. We came up with a simple but detailed illustration of the Amalfi coast, complete with sunset colors and the couple hidden within the roads.

We then applied the identity on other items, such as signage around the wedding dinner (Turquoise Room), seating plans and a cut-and-fold boat for their friends to bring to the dinner.
